In our hometown of Savannah, St. Patrick's Day is a big deal! The whole town shuts down to celebrate the holiday. We have a parade that travels through downtown for over 3 hours. People camp out overnight in the squares just to secure a front row seat to the parade.
After the parade is over, the party continues on the cobble stones of River Street. Hundreds of thousands of people visit Savannah, GA each year to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
